The base is hand made of Cedar with a keyhole mount on the rear for easy hanging on a single screw. The opener is made of cast iron for durability. Wooden base is either painted or stained and then coated with a polyurethane finish for long lasting protection and easy cleaning. Two super strong neodymium magnets are embedded into the back of the wood to catch the caps as they fall.
